As those who know me will appreciate, I have a deep and enduring love of Hydra Island but it is impossible, expecially in the current financial crisis, to maintain HydraDirect from a distance now that I no longer live on Hydra to the high standards that I have always striven for.

So as you will see, HydraDirect has been trimmed down to just those properties for sale or accommodation outlets that still have paid up adverts. I will no longer be accepting new adverts but existing advertisers can rest assured that I will continue to pay for and maintain the site until the very last one expires. I will also ensure that I tweak HydraDirect sufficiently to ensure it remains well placed on the search engines too.

I sincerely wish my wonderful friends on Hydra and indeed the whole island all the very best for the future and hope that business for everyone will improve. For me, I have moved to another island, an English one called the Isle of Wight where I am in the process of setting up another website - what a surprise! It's called www.IOWdirect.co.uk and while I am working on it now, it won't be fully operational until December.
