The Stone House is a lovingly-restored 18th-century archondikon (aristocratic residence) set atop a steep hillside overlooking the breathtaking Hydra harbor. The hand-hewn stone wall surrounding the property encloses the main house, a guesthouse, and a series of courtyards and terraces. With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, the Stone House comfortably sleeps seven. Decorated with original artwork and carefully furnished with antiques and cozy chairs, the home is perfect for a couple's romantic getaway or a family's summer vacation.

The main house contains a living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath, and guest bedroom and bath. The house is equipped with all the implements for entertaining. The grand master bedroom boasts exquisite views in all directions: open sea, the cascade of island homes, and the majestic peaks of the mountains surrounding Hydra town. This sweeping room of fabulous high-ceilinged proportions also contains a writing desk, reading chairs, and a completely renovated ensuite bathroom, including a bathtub. A private balcony hangs in the sky, perfect for sipping an evening glass of wine.

The charming guesthouse contains a gem of a room with a queen-sized brass bed and complete privacy. Some of the comforts of this home include: wireless internet access, Bose iPod speaker dock, furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, three fireplaces, and weekly maid service. The Stone House boasts spectacular views that span the sea, the port, and the inland mountains.
