Today housing the School of Merchant Marine of Hydra, the oldest school of its kind in Greece. Anastasios Tsamados was a heroic admiral who fell during the Greek War of Independence 1821.

It is a shame, but because it is an active school, it is not possible to see inside the building. However you can see it from the outside, dominating the east side of the harbour above the last shops on the harbour as you head towards the Archive Museum.
