3 Kamini aka Baby Beach Hydra Island Greece

Kamini Beach is, as its alternative name of Baby Beach suggests, a really good option for families with young children. The beach is a mix of different size pebbles, is fairly level and the water shelves gently. It's only 1k from Hydra town along the level coast road. There are only a few steps to negotiate if you have a pushchair with you when you go around Kamini Harbour.

From the seaFrom the seaWater taxis will take you round from the main Hydra Harbour to Kamini in about 2 mins if you don't want to walk the coast road. Get out of the taxi and continue west along the coast road for another 200m and the beach is down some steps below the ruin of the old arsenal/fort.

You can take lunch or have a drink at the Kodylenia Taverna or at Christina's Taverna both of which overlook the little harbour, but you would be advised to take water and snacks with you to the beach because it's a nuisence to have to leave and come back as refreshments aren't that close.
