The programme includes formal conference papers, concerts and jam sessions of rebetiko music. Attendance at all events is free for residents of Hydra, but it is advisable to book places in advance by sending an email to <a href="mailto:ed.emery@thefreeuniversity.net">ed.emery@thefreeuniversity.net</a> The Saturday Night Rebetiko Supper is planned at the Douskos Restaurant on Saturday night 18 October. Violinist Kyriakos Gouventas will again be organizing a team of musicians - this year we are bringing members of the Famous SOAS Rebetiko Band from London.
