HydraDirect is fast approaching its seventh anniversary and the itch is to change by building on what we've already developed with lots of improvements and more interaction with our users. And there are many more features planned.

HYDRAMA THEATRE PERFORMANCE

Friday 22nd August at 9.15 you are invited to an evening of Theatre and Music in Vlychos. Programme includes an abridged version of "The Persians" by Aeschylus, and will will include a rare solo performance by Corinna Seeds (of Moonlight Sonata by Ritsos)as well as Greek songs dedicated to the moon. Entrance is free and all are welcome. No dogs please!

New Editor for HydraDirect.com

Hello everyone.  Annie has decided to call it a day as Editor so I am stepping into her shoes until I can find someone who wants to run it and is based on Hydra.  I will do my best to sort out new information wanted on the listings so please contact me to do with anything relating to the advertisments.  Also please contact me with any news, items for sale or just stories and pictures from Hydra.

If anyone is interested in becoming the Editor (or possibly even the Owner) of this web site please also contact me.  We are looking for someone who spends time on Hydra and who is looking for additional income.  Ideally they will have some business experience and can operate the HydraDirect.com business alongside an existing small business.

URGENT REQUEST FOR ACCOMMODATION THIS SUMMER

Please would anyone who still has space to accommodate a family of 2 adults and 3 children this summer, drop me a line on annie@hydradirect.com.  I have received an email from someone who comes every year to Hydra, but who has unavoidably had to leave arrangements until the last minute.  Please help if you can.  Thank you.

We're anti-spam & anti-junk mail

Everyone using email knows how annoying it is to recieve hundreds of junk and spam messages. At HydraDirect we're fighting back by not displaying email addresses on the site. Instead we offer a simple email link via a form so our advertisers won't have their email added to  lists when spammers trawl the internet looking for addresses. Users can be assured that their message goes ONLY to the business or individual advertised and no one else, it is treated as private and confidential. 

What does it mean - login or register to post comments?

Become a Member of HydraDirect - It's FREE. When you register to become a member you will be able login so you can contribute to HydraDirect by adding comments, personal notices, classified ads and joining in with the "Have Your Say" discussion topics. You don't have to use your own name when you create an account, be inventive, we don't mind what you call yourself so long as it's not already in use. We do need your real email address but we promise that we'll never share it with anyone or use it to send unsolicited mail except for our monthly newsletter.
