The guest wing of the House of the Shooting Star with private use of the swimming pool, overlooks the amphitheatre of Hydra, approx 15-30 mins from port. 2 double bedrooms each with twin beds made up next to each other. You'll find plenty of cupboard, drawers and wardrobe space so you can unpack properly and both rooms have panoramic sea views. We provide crisp cotton linen with blankets for less warm evenings at the beginning and end of the season. There is plenty of living space both inside and out. Well planted lower garden offering shade and respite from the mid-summer sun.

Hewn from the granite of Hydra's mountains, the main living room is a cool oasis providing comfortable couches in the sitting area, a breakfast serving bar and dining area where you'll find a quaint "forno" (traditional oven). There is a portable music system for radio, tapes and CD's so you can bring your favourites to play in the house or on the terrace while you sunbathe and swim. Kitchen: full electric oven, separate grill, electric and gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer along with good quality cooking utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery.

So you can keep up with the news, or watch a film, we have a TV in the small sitting room, which has traditional low couches and an abundance of cushions also making it an excellent spot for  a siesta or quiet reading spot. Off this sitting room there is a well appointed shower room. The inner hall, with access to the bathroom and bedrooms also has antique furniture, paintings and interesting artefacts from all over the world along with books in a number of languages that you're welcome to borrow during your stay. The bathroom has a full-sized bath for you to relax in as well as a shower.

Price per night is for the house with 3 to a maximum of 4 persons sharing. 15% discount per night if only 1 to 2 persons sharing. (Apr-Jun, Oct) €320, (Jul-Sep) €350. Sleeps Max 4. Min 7 nights. Deposit of 50% of your total stay is required to secure your booking, with the balance of payment due no less than 8 weeks prior to arrival. Pets are not accepted. Children over the age of 12 are welcome but because of the high drop off the front of the pool terrace and the dangers of a deep pool, we respectfully decline younger children. No Smoking in house. Maid and laundry service included.
