INFORMATIVE MEETING

“Winter Season discussion and planning”
 
All those who are interested in meeting Hydra Ark and wish to ask questions concerning the activities of the association, the organization of cat colonies, future veterinary actions,  dogs’ and donkeys’ healthcare  and any other questions are welcome to join the meeting.
Hydra Ark will collect candidatures from individuals who are bilingual and wish to become "Official Translator of Hydra Ark”

VETERINARY PROGRAM
6 November 2008:
-Treatment of sick animals
-Vaccinations
-Antibiotic therapy for cats with a flu, eye problems, etc.
-Spaying and neutering only on request (call for reservation)
If you spot cats or dogs with health problems, please inform us. You can help us by bringing them to our vet.

FOOD PROGRAM:
Creation of a list with the names of “feeders”. If you usually feed street cats and dogs, please contact us. We may provide you with free food to distribute during the winter season.

Call us preferably November 3-8.

PLANNING VETERINARY VISIT FOR EQUINES:
If you have horses and donkeys and you would like to receive veterinary advice or provide them with treatment, help us plan a visit of a specialized vet. We need to collect requests to plan the visit in advance: please contact us.

INFORMATION, 7 November, KAMINI 9 am:
Seminar held by Carol Macbeth of GAWF. Carol will share her 20-year experience in animal welfare in Greece on a number of issues concerning the protection and health of animals on Hydra, as well as strategies for developing healthy cat colonies. Free attendance.

Meeting at 9 am in front of Pirofani Restaurant. After meeting, we will go together to the space designed for the seminar.
