Kallianos Dive Centre08-Jul-07 - Sadly we must report the closing of the Hydra Dive Center. However, divers need not worry as the Kallianos Dive Center is more than happy to collect from Hydra Harbour and take divers (novices to advanced divers) and ferry them to their purpose designed Capari Island which is situated between Dokos Island and Ermioni on the Peloponnese mainland. For divers with non-diving family members and friends, Capari Island provides a great compromise. The island is really cute with little sandy beaches, tables, chairs, shade, lots of rock pools and shallow water around it. Divers have a range of good dives (including wrecks) to explore knowing that the rest of the family are happily enjoying themselves. Bring your own picnic and refreshments. All dive equipment is available if you don't have your own with you. And I can personally vouch for George and his team as being very safety conscious, friendly, professional, reliable and good fun.
