Paradosiakon is a popular and traditional Greek taverna on Hydra Island, Greece. Situated close to the harbour front makes it in easy reaching distance wherever you are. Decorated in blue and white with typical taverna chairs makes it attractive to both locals and tourists. During the summer you can enjoy your meal outside on the small terrace under the growing vine leaves.

The menu is large and serves traditional family dishes, ready to be chosen from their display cabinet. They specialise in seafood: freshly caught squid from Hydra, fried or stuffed, octopus, shrimps, mussels, crawfish and seafood spaghetti. The chef also makes homemade pies with cheese, wild greens and spinach.

They have a good selection of house wines, red, white and rose, chiporo, variety of beers and of course the famous ouzo! You are not obliged to have a full meal. If you wish just to have a refreshment, salad or meze, you are very welcome. Don’t forget if you like to have a dessert after your meal, they have Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts, nut cake with ice cream and ‘spoon’ sweets.

Paradosiakon is open all year round. They have recently renovated their taverna to accommodate more people. If you are a group of 20-25 persons, you can have your own private section away from the main taverna. Paradosiakon is a friendly family owned taverna and will welcome you with courtesy and warmth.
