Our Greek restaurant offers the finest in fresh seafood and traditional Greek taverna dishes. The Sunset Restaurant is located on the west corner of the harbour next to the cannons on Hydra one of the most unique and beautiful Greek islands.

The Sunset Restaurant operates a full bar with spirits, wines and cocktails even though it maintains the atmosphere of a restaurant. We have live Greek music every night during high season. In 2001, we completely renovated the restaurant and with the new heating system that was installed we can operate from April until October providing complete comfort for our clientele regardless of what the weather is doing at the beginning and end of the season.

The Sunset Restaurant is so named for its’ unparalleled views of the majestic sunsets of the Greek Saronic Gulf. Perched on a cliff above one of the scenic swimming areas of Hydra you can’t help but love it! The Sunset Restaurant is open from mid morning until late at night for drinks, lunch and evening meals.

We are the perfect location to hold a wedding or conference and can seat up to four hundred comfortably. Our ability to create a beautiful wedding combined with excellent catering and one of a kind view makes the Sunset Restaurant the ideal choice. We can also provide off-site catering for weddings and conventions. For civil marriage ceremonies we recommend the gazebo up at the Sunset lookout point right next to us and can be very nicely decorated by the restaurant.
