Getting back and forth from Hydra Harbour to the organised beaches of Hydra is easy and convenient with the island's fleet of speedy beach boats.
All the beach boats moor next to each other along the harbour wall across from the Cathedral clock tower.
You pay when you board in Hydra port for a return trip. You will be given a receipt. Due to some Greek laws, it is not possible to buy a single ticket. So if you want to walk to a beach and then a beach boat back you will still have to buy a return ticket even if you don't use half of it.
Return fare per person:
During the season, the boat owners put sandwich boards or notices on the back of their boats to say where they are going, what time of departure and return.
