14-Jul-07 - On the evening of Friday 13th, I went to the Verena Foundation in Kamini anxious to see what Eric had developed in his film on ‘Faces of Hydra’. Eric apologising for being late, finally started the show. An invited band named "Hotel" sang some songs and the audience started to relax. The moment the music stopped, the lights in the 3 windows of the foundation started to flicker……silence.

Percussion GroupiesI have never witnessed such silence from the Greeks in all my years of living here.

Heads were slightly tilted in an upward direction and fascination was all around. A few gasps and giggles were muttered in the background, mostly from embarrassment.

All of a sudden a shriek of excitement came blaring in my ear. My son of four years had just seen himself on the screen!

My children and I had really enjoyed the show. Smile PleaseI thought the whole project had been so cleverly constructed.

Well done to Eric and Katerina for putting such an original show together.
