Antonis Oikonomou (Αντώνης Οικονόμου; 1785 – 16 December 1821) was a Greek naval captain in the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire and owned this mansion along with the neighbouring house and the church behind it about 200 years ago.
The house was bought in the 60’s by Giorgos Lialios who lived there with his wife, the painter Angelika Lialios Feitag. It is now owned by his two daughters who both being in the arts have renovated their home and they rent the house to families for holidays or as a venue for organisers of workshops, conferences, concerts and filming, etc.
