Mandraki Fort, Hydra Island Greece

The Mandraki Fort consists of two parts on either side of Mandraki Bay, the Naval base was built in the 16th Century during the Venetian occupation and reinforced at the time of the Greek revolution. The remaining structures are more pronounced on the Eastern side of the bay and have recently been renovated (2009).
