The gallery above was taken on a sunny day (6th February 2015) starting at the top of the residential area known as Kiaffa just below Agios Konstandinos Church. This is probably the earlies part of Hydra to have been built because it is furthest away from the port so the inhabitants in the early 1700's would be able to see marauding pirates coming long before they landed. I worked my way down the hill aiming to reach the centre of the back of the town. I passed the back of the old school at the top of Lignou Street and then continued down but using the steps that run pararrel to Lignou Street so I reached the level part of town next to the Cotomattea Hotel (must look up the spelling on that one).
