With a capacity to accommodate 6-8 guests, the 1620 Hydra holiday home to rent is perfect for relaxing, laid back holidays or for creative inspiration. The house combines historical architecture blended with the convenience of modern living, all the while enjoying breathtaking views of the sea and interesting surroundings.
What to Expect
Located on the border with Hydra Town and the historical area known as Kiafa.
2 floors
Sleeps a maximum of 8 guests with great flexibility.
2 double bedrooms (to sleep 4 adult guests)
1 single bed room ( to sleep 1 adult or 2 youngsters who don't mind a small bed)
4 single canape style beds (2 in each floor living space) to sleep 4 younger guests (over 12)

Air-conditioning is on both floors (the traditional thick stone walls and small windows that catch the breeze, keeps the house naturally air-conditioned).
And for the winter season, both floors have fireplaces.

Ground Floor
The ground floor of 1620 Hydra is where you'll find the most original architecture. There is an independent entrance from the street which means guests can come and go without disturbing anyone sleeping upstairs. This is the oldest part of the house dating from the 1600s. The ceilings are lower and of traditional beam and reed construction. And in the sitting room you'll see the original baking oven next to the stone wellhead of the freshwater cisterna that would in its day have been the only supply of water to the house. Today the water is used for the abundant garden though!

1620 Hydra is set up with all appliances to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything is carefully fitted and blended with the charming character of the house.

- Fluffy bathroom towels and toiletries

- There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests to use.
- House & linen cleaning is done once per week. Extra cleaning can be arranged at times to suit and is charged per hour.

Low Season: €3,136 per week (€448 per day)
High Season: €5,390 per week (€770)
